Working With and Sponsoring a Premier Athlete
Liz Masakayan is one of the world's top beach volleyball
athletes and is currently coaching an Olympic hopeful team. In her
14 years as a professionl athlete, she has won 47 career titles and
earned over $620,000 in prize money.
What makes Masakayan's career even more remarkable is the
courage and perseverance she has shown to overcome the eight knee
surgeries she has had to endure and continue to play the sport that
she loves.
Her most serious knee injuries occurred in 1994 when she tore
her ACL and then broke her kneecap eight months later. Most doctors
said her career was over. Amazingly, she not only recovered, but
went on to win many more tournaments and made a serious run for the
2000 Sydney Olympics.
Liz is a top athlete and a great role model who enjoys speaking
and working with people of all ages.
